Aurora adds 3D graphics to the habitual 2D surroundings of Photoshop (PS). Some of

the controls for the plug-in will be familiar to 3D artists. The interface of the plug-in
is straightforward, and in most cases it remains within the framework of PS’s
standards.


Aurora was developed using the PS technology Automate. In contrast to usual PS
filters dealing with a single PS-layer, it can work with a number of layers -- treating
them as flat images located at different “distances” from each other.
Since Photoshop is a 2D software package and we are creating 3D effects and entire
environments, we need to introduce some concepts in order to create good-looking
images.



Aurora is the only Photoshop plug-in that gives Photoshop users true digital nature effects within Photoshop. Faster and more versatile than clip art and much faster and easier than Photoshop, Aurora specializes in water, sky, and lighting for outdoor scenes.
