Zack Arias have worked very hard to make this a product you are going to enjoy, learn from, and be inspired by. It is not a DVD about Zack Arias talking about himself. It is not a DVD with a dude in a studio going on and on and on about mountains of technical jargon. It isn't a 2 hour commercial for his corporate sponsor. He doesn't have a corporate sponsor. Zack Arias not here to sell you gear. In fact, he'll probably talk you out of buying some gear at some point. Is off camera flash intimidating? Are you a bit fearful of it? It is Zack Arias' goal to get you to drop all the fear and intimidation and get your flash off camera as God intended it to be used! :) Once the "light bulb" goes off in your head, you'll see how simple it really can be and you will see your photography grow by leaps and bounds. You'll have so much more confidence to take on any project that comes your way.


In the nearly 4 hour long set of DVD's Zack Arias go over philosophy, gear, exposure, modifiers, application of it all, how he compose images, what I'm looking for in a photo, what I like, what I don't like, how things go really well, how things start to suck very quickly, how to interact with clients, how to get kicked out of not just one location but two locations, and, most importantly, how to deal with a group of drunk girls out on the street.

Disc One ::
Opening Thoughts :: Exposure Control :: Gear (lights, stands, triggers, etc.) :: Modifiers (Umbrellas, soft boxes, grids, etc.) :: Indoor shoot and then 2 location shoots with the same client. During these shoots he methodically talk through his thinking process and how he is finding exposure and warming up to shooting and working with clients.


Disc Two ::
Zack Arias pick up the pace on Disc Two and they do a lot of shooting. You'll follow Zack Arias on shoots with 3 individuals and one band. He is more in "shooting" mode than "teaching" mode on this disc but he is still talking through the process of what he is looking for in the final photo, how he is going to get there, what type of light and modifier he need to get the job done, and how to work with situations when things just aren't perfect.

Zack Arias end the DVD with some information about his workflow in Lightroom. "I'm not a "workflow" teacher. I have a system that works for me and I'm always improving it. Finally, the montage and credits are pretty cool. Stick around for those."

Er nimmt Sie mit auf die didaktisch professionell aufbereitete Reise durch die Funktionen und gestalterischen Möglichkeiten von InDesign. Grundlagen
Das Video-Training beginnt mit der Vorstellung der brandneuen Bedienoberfläche und erklärt alle Navigations-Werkzeuge, damit Sie in Ihrem Layout den Überblick behalten.

Dokument einrichten
Der Trainer zeigt, wie Sie den Satzspiegel mit Textspalten, Rändern, Anschnitt Grundlinienraster und Hilfslinien einrichten. Außerdem: So erleichtern Mustervorlagen die Gestaltungsarbeit.

Text, Typo und Formate
Hier zeigt InDesign seine eigentliche Stärke. Erwarten Sie daher ein besonders üppiges Kapitel zu diesen Themen. Erleben Sie in anschaulichen Praxisbeispielen den Umgang mit Text und die typografische Formatierung mit Absatz- und Zeichenformaten, mikrotypografische Korrekturen oder verschachtelte Formate.

Tabellen und Tabulatoren

Platzieren und Importieren
Unterschiedliche Bildformate lassen sich in InDesign nicht nur platzieren, sondern auch für kreative Experimente nutzen. Der Trainer zeigt auch den Umgang mit mehrseitigen PDF- oder InDesign-Dateien im Magazin-Layout – Flexibilität ist hier Trumpf!

Transparenzen und Effekte
Transparenz kennen Sie aus Photoshop: Nutzen Sie sie in InDesign, um Ihrem Layout den entscheidenden Pfiff zu verleihen. Wie Sie nicht nur Bilder sondern auch Vektorflächen oder Texthintergründe transparent gestalten und diese optimal für die Druckausgabe vorbereiten, erfahren Sie in diesem Kapitel.

Interaktivität
Nicht bloß als hochqualitative Druckdatei – immer öfter präsentieren Sie Design-Idee und Layout auch über das Internet. Gestaltungsvorlagen
